March 29, 1996, a “Goddess” was born by the name of Shayna Janae Flakes. Goddess was inspired by music at a young age (Alica Keys), Listening to R&B late night while trying to fall asleep just so the quiet wouldn’t be so awkward. She would sing some days karaoke on her mom’s chat so others could hear how proud her mom was to have a daughter who sang so beautifully, singing in front of her first crowd with two others for her 5th-grade graduation, the lead alto in her choir in 7th-8th grade, and the choir in her formal Churches she attended, and although she was unsuccessful, she also went on to audition for America’s Got Talent in 2017. So, she decided to perfect her craft and started recording at age 20. Her first single, “Man of My Dreams”, launched on SoundCloud and hit 11k views within 9 hours of being released. Currently she just dropped her first debut album, “Mixed Emotions”, available on all platforms near you. She looks forward to making more great music of many different genres with many different artist around the world and cannot wait to be considered one of the GREATEST independent artist who ever did it.
